Boys will find clothes in their section that are more casual. This is a section that caters to school appropriate clothing usually. A lot of mothers can actually be seen shopping in this section for their children.

Shirts for girls come in the trendiest styles in their department. Each season there are new styles added to match the current trend and popular colors. For example, when the weather starts getting a little warmer, you will find a lot of cotton tops that are lightweight in the current vibrant colors for the season. When the weather is colder, tops are usually found in more muted colors that are thicker.

Besides what the season is, girls shirts also have the current pop culture things featured on them. If a certain TV show, cartoon character, or movie has become popular, their images, names, phrases, and logos are typically put onto clothing. For this department, usually family friendly and wholesome ones are featured.

Guys: Do Not Get Carried Away With Fashion

Guys, don’t get carried away with fashion. Leave it to the girls. If that sounds sexist, then so be it, but the fact is, you’re not genetically programmed for style or taste - they are!

If there is one exception to the guy’s fashion sense rule, it may be in the area of watches. Men seem to have watch fetishes in much the same way that women have shoe fetishes. Guys really identify with their watches.

A watch does much more than tell the time. It tells the world a whole story about you. Let’s take a men’s sport watch, for example. If a guy is wearing a waterproof watch, that suggests he’s into water sports. Look closely and you can tell whether or not he’s really into water sports or is just a poser. If you know he’s not a millionaire but he’s wearing an expensive one, he’s a poser. No real surfer or sailor would wear an expensive watch in the water. It’s too risky.

Now let’s look at the leather watch. These can be some of the classiest watches there are. Remarkably, most men seem to get it right when they choose their leather watches. There aren’t too many decisions to be made - you’ve got a choice between a black or brown band and a gold or silver watch face and that’s about it. Nonetheless, most men do seem to make the right choice.

Shoes are another matter altogether. There’s nothing uglier than a pair of leather brown boots, but men everywhere wear them with pride. Somehow they think they make them look macho or something. They don’t, not unless they’re actually worn for doing something macho. Going out for Sunday brunch in a pair of boots just looks stupid. End of argument!

Those men who opt for more casual footwear for the weekend make even worse decisions. Somehow they consider a cheap pair of flip-flops appropriate for lunch at a nice cafe. Does anybody really want to look at their ugly feet? Does their wife or girlfriend’s heart swell with pride when his slapping feet announce their arrival at a classy seaside cafe?

We won’t even go into the matter of clothing here. It’s just lucky that most men are so conservative. If you’re a man and you blend in with your work environment, it’s much better than if you stand out. Men who decide to lash out and try something different risk losing their jobs, their friends and maybe even their wives.

Guys, you’re only on safe ground with your watch. Other than that, leave fashion to the gals.
